Challenge Tuesday: Crafts2U

The Challenge: Crafts2U needed a way to increase sales while at the same time reduce their operating costs which had consisted of many manual processes and spreadsheets. Their brand also needed a complete makeover in order to capture market share in the competitive crafts industry. After rebranding and redesign was complete, Crafts2U still needed a way to reduce operating costs.

The Solution: Crafts2U underwent a rebranding that was implemented on their new Magento storefront. This was developed and integrated with SalesWarp to allow Crafts2U to fully automate their entire E-commerce operations – from getting their products from the suppliers to their Magento store to order management, inventory management, CRM, shipping, and fulfillment. Crafts2U was able to automate all of the day-to-day E-commerce operations that they had been doing manually.

The first thing Crafts2U was able to do was connect to 11 additional warehouses through SalesWarp’s Warehouse Connector. This allowed them to increase their product line ten-fold to 50,000 total products while being able to manage the inventory automatically and in real-time.

The second thing Crafts2U was able to do with SalesWarp’s automation, was get their products to market 30 days faster than the largest national competitor. Along with their increased product line, this helped Crafts2u increase sales by almost 3,200% in just nine months.

By automating the tasks related to managing this level of products and warehouses, Crafts2U almost eliminated the time and resources that were previously needed to complete these tasks manually.  With this one consolidated, automated Storefront Management System, Crafts2U was able to reducing overall operating costs by 90%.
